Hemfärd, the M28

I wanted to capture the feeling of entering the embrace of a tram at nighttime. The moonlight caresses the worn seats while the bare lightbulbs give the atmosphere a warm and almost whimsical feeling. This is a childhood memory for all of us 80's 90's and 00's kids out there.

This is tram model M28, build in the middle of the 60s, they retired 2021. It's my favorite model (I guess I'm heavily biased since I grew up riding this tram) and I'm sad to see it go, but also happy that it got to run for so many years.

If you've been in Gothenburg before 2010 you might recognize the green ticket machine. The ticket machine was mounted in the trams from 1990 to 2010.
